One of the great things about the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation is that we have a kennel facility where we can keep dogs and cats while they look for homes. At any given time have over 200 dogs and cats up for adoption, saved from being euthanized at rural shelters. Our facility provides play time with other dogs in play paddocks, and housing that provides access to outside, but has air conditioning/heating (summer/winter) as well. But there are dogs that don't do well in a kennel environment, dogs who need extra TLC, or that have simply, through no reason of their own, been overlooked at aren't getting adopted. These dogs need an advocate, someone who can take them to adoption event and talk about how they are in a home environment, and give them that extra advocacy that helps them get a home.
Thanks to an amazing network of fosters, these dogs are able to find that TLC and support that they need. We've seen the amazing impact that these fosters have, and in addition to sharing that experience with you, we want to also share these dogs looking for homes.
